Members of the Grand Prairie Chamber of Commerce Branding Irons hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony to welcome United Realty & Associates to downtown Grand Prairie.
The full service real estate firm located at 111 West Main opened its office in the recently renovated historic downtown area.
Chris Brickman, broker and 13 year real estate professional, said he has enrolled in the Leadership Grand Prairie program and looks forward to being involved with community activities.
Brickman, a 12 year Army veteran, said his staff, including himself, is made up of three military veterans.
United Realty has partnered with Homes for Heroes to provide housing discounts for persons that serve. That includes military personnel, police, firefighters, teachers and health care professionals.
One client, Jacqueline Webb with Dallas Fire/Rescue, said Brickman worked with her for almost a year to get her into her dream home. Webb said there were many obstacles, but unlike many realtors that would have backed away from the difficulties, Brickman reassured her all along the process and worked through the obstacles to get her a home.
“It’s not simply about the money,” Brickman said. “It’s the differences I can make. That’s what I live for.”
